THE CITY OF COWETA 12TH ANNUAL PATRIOTIC FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD ON JUNE 28, 2014 6:00 P.M. AT COWETA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL FIELD.
The Coweta Patriotic Festival will feature live music, a jupiter jump, inflatable games, a water cannon and goodies for the kids. All activities are free.
In addition, a number of food vendors will be on hand to offer food and beverages for purchase.
Live music will be provided by Lickitty Split, a Miami based group that performs everything from country to classic rock.
The evening will culminate with a spectacular fireworks show provided by Rainbow Fireworks of Kansas.
As always, area families are invited to bring their ice chests, lawn chairs, picnic baskets, blankets, frisbees, kites and other outdoor games to the celebration. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed.
For parking convenience, a trolley will run from the Coweta High School, Coweta Junior High and Mission Intermediate Grade Center parking lots every 15 minutes for patrons to park and ride to the festivities.
