SUMMARY:2026 March General Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has scheduled a $2 million overlay project of Highway 72/Broadway Street in Fiscal Year 2028\, which runs from July 1\, 2027 to June 30\, 2028. The project area extends from Oak Street to just south of Pecan Street and includes new sidewalks to meet ADA requirements. \n\n\n\nJoining us as guest speaker for our March 18 general membership meeting (12 noon) will be Chris Wallace\, District Engineer for ODOT's Division One in Muskogee. He oversees all maintenance and construction activities on highways and interstates in Wagoner\, Adair\, Cherokee\, Haskell\, McIntosh\, Muskogee\, Okmulgee and Sequoyah counties.\n\n\n\nMr. Wallace will discuss the project and ask for input from local business owners as to preferences on when they will go to construction. If you have questions or concerns about the project\, this will be the meeting to attend.\n\n\n\nThis is a free meeting. No meal will be served\, but we encourage you to bring lunch with you. Support a local restaurant\, pick up a "to go" order or brown bag it from home. Remember your business cards for networking opportunities.
