DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our July General Membership meeting as we welcome Darla Heller as our guest speaker. Darla is an experienced Economic Developer with a demonstrated history of working with state\, local and regional economic development organizations to help grow Oklahoma's economy by fostering job creation and capital investment.\n\n\n\nShe has a positive track record of effective organizational management\, securing and managing public and private sector funds\, advocating for legislative priorities\, engaging corporate boards and being accountable to a diverse and engaged public.\n\n\n\nMost recently\, Darla has helped Muskogee heighten their workforce development initiatives. She has been an integral part of economic development efforts in Wagoner County\, Broken Arrow and the State of Oklahoma.\n\n\n\nShe is a 25-plus year resident of Wagoner County and over the years been very involved in Coweta civic organizations  and those organizations that support Coweta Public Schools. She sits on the Select Oklahoma Board of Directors and the Heartland Economic Development Board.\n\n\n\nDarla will talk about workforce development and provide an overview of regional economic development trends that Northeast Oklahoma is facing in this fast-paced environment. \n\n\n\nThere is no charge for attendance. We invite you to patronize one of our local restaurants and pick up a "to go" order to bring with you. Remember to bring your business cards to network with others.
