Broadway.\n\n\n\nNational Day of Prayer\, held annually on the first Thursday in May\, calls on all people of different faiths throughout the United States to pray for the nation and its leaders. The designation was established in the United States decades ago through the hard work and efforts of the late Dr. Bill and Vonette Bright\, Coweta natives\, who founded the Campus Crusade for Christ organization.\n\n\n\nOrganizers say there will seven different areas of prayer focus: Family\, Church\, Business\, Education\, Military\, Government and for Arts\, Entertainment and Media.\n\n\n\nAll area residents\, business owners and community leaders are invited and encouraged to attend.
